MEET TAMSYN
I consider myself a creative young adult, who has a passion for creating art through photography, video and drawing.
Although I do not wish to be defined by my disability, I am an amputee. I was born with a condition called Fibular Hemimelia and had my left leg amputated below the knee when I was 18 months old.

VIDEO EDITING & FILM
This year I have been working as a junior video editor. I have gained experience creating treatments for clients such as Atlassian & DropBox, being on set to assist with video production, brainstorming with the team to come up with commercial ideas for beauty brands and post-production editing using Adobe Premiere Pro.
I studied multimedia, art and drama during my HSC and loved the editing side in multimedia. Last year I completed an AFTRS screenwriting course which was fun, exciting and highly educational.
In my spare time, I use Udemy as a learning platform to continually improve my skills in the Adobe Creative suite, specifically Premier Pro and After Effects.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Photography is where I found and first begun developing my passion for the arts. I love to explore different ways of telling a story through photography. As a young child, I knew instinctively that the arts could be a refuge for me. I suppose that is because embracing creativity was a way for me to escape inner turmoil and my disability. Art is not only a way for me to express my emotions but it is a platform for me to communicate the social and cultural aspects that surround my life.
